Cool Cordial
The rain held off for just long enough for the elderflowers to dry out. I picked enough for the first batch of this year’s elderflower cordial.
You know the saying about how wood warms you twice? Once when it is chopped and once when it is burned. I feel that it is similar with the elderflowers, but in a scrumptious way! They smell divine when you pick them and then you can enjoy them all over again when you drink them. Mmm couldn’t be better ….
